Four Favorite Fashion Blogs

What do you do when you want to indulge in a little retail therapy (or just some fun window shopping) but you don’t have time to go to your favorite shops? You can hit the fashion blogs. They are loaded with creative clothing ideas and are just plain fun. Here are my four favorites:

J’s Everyday Fashion: This Florida fashionista features a new outfit everyday and she’s a bargain hunter to boot. She lists where she bought each item from her outfit and even what she paid for it. I love this gal because her budget is my budget!

Professional but Fun

I Want to Be Her: This blog is the creation of the co-founder of Lucky, the New York fashion magazine. She features both photos and sketches of fashionable women she meets on the streets of NYC, often with a bit about who they are.

Polyvore: Okay, the clothes can be pretty pricey but this blog is so creative. Among other things, it will let you create an outfit, called sets, and then post it on your blog (as I did above). Other visitors to the blog can also vote on your outfit. The site features clothes by high-end designers, such as Yves Saint Laurent, but also everyday retailers, such as The Gap.

Classy and Fab Girl: Yes, this is my daughter’s recently launched blog but I think it’s pretty clever. You go, girl!

So, what about you? Tell me your favorite fashion blog.

Thank YOU, J! I’m a huge fan of your blog — so are my high school and college-age daughters!
